Hand Therapy
Expert care for the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder

Dance Physiotherapy
Specialised treatment tailored for dancers
With over 20 years of competitive dance experience and time spent teaching, Paige understands the physical and emotional demands dancers face. This unique background allows her to truly connect with dancers, using their language and movement knowledge to tailor treatment programs that are both effective and empowering.
Having done mentoring with the Australian Ballet’s Principal Physiotherapist, Mrs Susan Mayes and professional development with world-renowned Dance Physiotherapist Lisa Howell. Paige’s goal is to build long-term relationships with local dancers, educators, and parents to keep dancers safe, strong, and thriving.

Instrumentalist Musicians Physiotherapy
Performance-focused treatment for playing-related injuries
Whilst sporting athletes may be prone to developing injuries from their sport, musicians are similarly at risk of developing playing-related injuries. As such, musicians require specific strength and conditioning to ensure peak performance.
Musicians can be prone to a range of playing-related injuries, some of the most common include: overuse syndrome, compression neuropathy, hypermobility syndrome, and musician’s dystonia.
Common treatment strategies include
- The establishment of good posture by strengthening and stretching
- Modifying practice for more efficiency with less physical loading
- Splinting for support and to assist motor re-learning
- Changing the interface between the musician’s body and their musical instruments to change the physical loading of playing

A long-time sports enthusiast and active hockey player, Pete has a strong interest in sports injury rehabilitation, particularly in field hockey and track and field.
He is a titled Member of the Australian College of Physiotherapy and has a background in musculoskeletal conditions and clinical Pilates, which allows him to offer a tailored approach for athletic recovery. Greatly involved in the local sporting community, Pete is also the President of the Eureka & Golden City Hockey Club.

Co-founder of Newington Physiotherapy in 1980, Charlie has a wealth of knowledge and is a great support to our physiotherapists.
With decades of clinical experience and a strong academic foundation, he has a particular interest in musculoskeletal and spinal conditions, combining hands-on expertise with evidence-based practice. Charlie is also actively involved in postgraduate teaching, mentoring, and research, and is an academic staff member at ACU Ballarat’s School of Physiotherapy.
